Rathmines Annual Blitz

The dates for this, now annual, competition are:

1. Tuesday, 22nd January
 
2. Thursday, 14th February (Valentine’s Day – chess players have no romance in their lives!)
 
3.  Tuesday, 18th March

The format has been the same for each year: one field open to all Rathmines members of all grades, nine games per round, a total of 27 games. There will be an overall winner and a prize for top second-tier player too. Past winners include Killian Delaney, Brendan Meghan (joint-winner), and Robert Stuart (twice).
