World Youth Championships

Sam Osbourne, our new board 1 on the Armstrong A team, was part of the Irish youth team at the world championships. This is a very strong event. The U18s, for example, featured 5 GMs and 12 IMs, plus numerous FMs. Sam had a performance result exactly matching his current ELO, which is all one can ever ask for!
