You cannot beat a 1.e4 player – we are invincible!
(But I will be there just in case…)

Peter, please, bring your issues up directly with the people concerned. The Rathmines website is not the place to stir up arguments. I’ve deleted your comment because I prefer to keep this website focused on positive comments and relevant suggestions. I had to (reluctantly) ban comments before, temporarily, to let people cool off. I don’t want to have it happen again.

it will be nice to get a master class from an Irish chess champion.

It WAS nice to get a master class from an Irish champion! Can I just say thanks to John for a most enjoyable and informative lecture. And a warning to the rest of you, don’t even BOTHER to play 1. e4 against me ever again. You’ll be crushed.
