I propose the name of this competition be changed to Rathmines granny’s house competition !,Because just like going to the granny’s house ,Players can drop in & out of it anytime, before , during and perhaps after the competition is over !! .The competition is top heavy with more players in senior section than other 2 sections put together ! .It would better if at the start of the competition players are divided to 3 equal groups based on ratings with minor adjustment ( if needed ) to make sure the top 2 sections are even numbers . It’s a loss to the competition & unfair not having john & michael play .

Anyway I am back from spain , one day walking on a stretch of narrow footpath there . with a flow of pedestrian coming from the opposite direction ,me and the incoming persons found ourselves constantly stopping and wait to see which way the other is going to shift to and sometimes we had to stop twice as we were on collision course again .SO I have come out with a new idea which I think should be universal code of conduct for 2 persons walking towards each other on a collision course , They should both shift to their RIGHT as the move closer to each other , then there is no confusion and no need to stop and a much better flow. I don’t know whether to patent this idea or just send it to the United nations for discussion , anyway I am going to call it ” SCAM ” !………………..( S- hahram’s C-ollision A-voidance M- aneuver ).
