michael well done on a great tournament as usual.I have to say i was well impressed by the young lads and it is not surprise to me 2 off them won their sections.I thought shahram and scott were a little unlucky but both are very improving players.I expect big things for scott next year if he is not doing exams.happy christmas to all in rathmines chess club

  2. shahram says:

YES , we should expect BIG things from improving chess prodigies and expect NOTHING from improving old ugly ducklings next year .

  3. shahram says:

I typed too fast without thinking and the above should read ( young swans ) and not ( chess prodigies )…..my bad ……..after all inglish is my sekond language

  4. leon fagan says:

shahram how many languages do you speak?

  5. shahram says:

Leon . Labhair mé 2 theanga amháin. Peirsis agus Béarla,

  6. shahram says:

If you can’t make sense of what was said above , don’t blame me , blame google translate

  7. shahram says:

Yes Leon ,Society is too focused on youth & beauty , when did you last see a romantic comedy where the protagonsits were not young & good looking ? . Imagine if a rathmines junior had won the winter blitz competition, there would be a song & a dance made about it on this website and congratulations would be pouring in , but you & me , nobody cares .

  8. shahram says:

It should read protagonists above ,cheap dell keyboard .
