Leagues Season Just A Month Away

The weather is changing, the nights are drawing in – it can only mean one thing the chess leagues season is about to start. So get ready for the off. As usual, the committee are now planning the line-ip of the teams for the coming season and will be checking on who’s available for the coming season. If in doubt contact current members should check with Jack, Michael or Nick to make sure they are not overlooked.

New members are welcome to join and take a place in teams if they so wish. See the “About and New Member Information” tab for further information.

As a warm up don’t forget the last round on the Kieran Cranny Blitz is on next Monday, Sep 1st. All welcome to play. Another date for the diary is the AGM on Sep 4th.

Enquiries from current and new members regarding teams can be made on club nights or by email to rathmineschessclub@gmail.com.

If you want a sunny chess holiday in spain go to http://www.winterchess.com and if you decide to go to a freezing Poland to play chess in December and NOT from Poland and visiting relatives , please e-mail me and I can give you phone number of a very good psychiatrist !.
