Ireland won both the Glorney (u18) and Robinson (u14) in the recent junior international.
Rathmines players figured prominently and the club supplied over one third of the Irish Junior teams. Scott Mulligan and Conor Maher were on the successful Glorney team, winning the trophy for the first time since 1963. Conor Maher claimed the vital 0.5 point. The winning Robinson team (Under 14) featured Henry Li, Michael Higgins and Fiachra Scallan, with Michael top scoring (5/6) for the team. It is the first time that Ireland have claimed 2 of the four trophies.
The Stokes team (Under 12) included Muhtarim Ul Haque and Sean Hunter.
Great credit is due to the players, their supporting families and the junior club promoters, Maura and James Osborne.
